The majority of students follow traditional Advanced Level courses which can lead to University entrance. In Year 12, most pupils take 4 ‘AS’ level courses (Some students can take up to 5 ‘AS’ level courses) and then follow A2 courses in year 13., Key Skills and enrichment programmes are also offered to broaden students’ development.
The Sixth Form has its own Student Management Committee to consult on important issues and a thriving social life. It also plays a large part in the life of the school through charitable work. Some students take the opportunity to work with younger pupils on supported-reading, Physical Education and other individual skill areas. This excellent experience is valued by Higher Education establishments and employers.

At North Chadderton Sixth Form we have considerable experience in helping students achieve their potential and in preparing them for success beyond the Sixth Form. The advantage of a school with a Sixth Form rests in the quality of the relationships between the students, their parents and the staff. Keeping everybody informed is of paramount importance.
