WHY ENGLISH LANGUAGE?

Language is woven into every aspect of our lives. The words we choose, the grammar we use and the topics we engage with have a direct influence on our thoughts, our actions and even on what we believe to be real. Language works in subtle ways and is often exploited in business and in politics. Therefore, understanding language is enlightening for us as a consumer, and receiver of marketing and political messages.

In addition to influencing thinking and perception, language can also have a direct impact on people’s behaviour. If we understand the role language plays in influencing behaviour, it will prove to be useful in many areas of our lives, such as negotiation, persuasion and motivation.
