What Happens Next?

At North Chadderton School, we know that education offers empowerment and enables our students to access the widest range of choices for the future. Our inclusive pathways programme enable all students to access a full array of GCSe and Vocational courses to enable them to be ambitious for their future and to refine the talents they possess, and develop new ones to access the widest, and most aspirational range of courses and careers in the future.

Students and their parents/carers will be sent an online link via Microsoft Forms on Friday 13th February 2026 and the form via the online link must be submitted by Friday 27th February 2026. 

The Pathways to Success choices will feed into construction of the timetable for September 2026 and we will use the subject chosen to produce the timetable. Where there is not enough demand for a subject, the course will not run and therefore it will be necessary to make alternative choices.   

Our pathways are the next step in the journey our students make towards becoming work and life ready, and so we are aware that many people may need some advice and guidance regarding future study, training and careers. Giving such advice is a specialist job and because of this, we have a dedicated Careers Advisor in school - Mr Azad, who will gladly see anyone who needs impartial advice.
