Admissions
SIXTH FORM ADMISSIONS
North Chadderton is a small, Sixth Form College of approximately 220 students, including around 10% who are new to North Chadderton from other schools.
All students experience a thorough induction programme at the start of Year 12 to facilitate the transition into the North Chadderton Sixth Form College.
Our students have opportunities to show leadership, to mentor and develop younger students and to take part in activities that span all year groups. The Sixth Form students at North Chadderton are expected to be role models to the younger members of our School and so expectations are high.
The Sixth Form years are important in terms of curriculum choice, but also in the development of the individual. The relationship between staff and students in our Sixth Form is a strength of our School; students are treated as individuals who have a variety of needs – whether it be challenge, structure or support. Our pastoral system is designed to meet those needs and help all students to achieve their very best.
We are very proud of our sixth form students and their ambition, commitment, initiative and creativity.
We highly recommend that you take the opportunity to visit the School and to attend our Sixth Form Open Evening where you will be able to discuss options with subject specialists as well as meet current Sixth Form students.
