Year 10

Welcome from the Head of Year

Dear parents and carers of Year 10, 

I am the Head of Year 10, Miss R Crawford. I've now had 3 full years with this year group since they started their journey at North Chadderton School. 

As we now head into our GCSE's, the majority of what we do and say is all geared towards students' future studies and careers. Over the course of this year, they will start their studies in subjects which they may go on to gain employment in, so these really are crucial years. Students will have the opportunity to gain some first hand experience of the world of work this year through our Futures Week, college talks and visits and work experience towards the end of Year 10. 

Our students have always been fully immersed into the wider culture of North Chadderton school, consistently part of our Student Leadership Team, sports teams, school shows and so much more. I really believe that this year group embodies our school values of Work Hard, Be Kind and Make a Difference. They are fantastic role models to the wider school community. I look forward to working with you all to get the best out of these students, moulding them into well-rounded individuals.
